About Vladimir Znamensky,

Dr. Vladimir Znamensky is an interventional cardiologist specializing in complex coronary artery disease, structural heart disease, and peripheral vascular disease. His expertise includes complex and high-risk coronary interventions (CHIP PCI), chronic total occlusion (CTO) revascularization, intracoronary imaging, plaque characterization, and physiologic assessment of coronary artery disease. He also performs structural heart procedures including transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) and transcatheter edge-to-edge mitral valve repair (mTEER). Additionally, he performs peripheral arterial and venous vascular interventions. Dr. Znamensky is frequently consulted for second opinions in complex coronary artery disease and revascularization strategies.

Prior to medical school, Dr. Znamensky conducted basic science research and published extensively in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Znamensky earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency, cardiovascular disease fellowship, and interventional cardiology fellowship at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, where he served as Chief Resident and Chief Cardiology Fellow. He completed advanced postdoctoral training in TAVR at the German Heart Center in Munich, Germany. Dr. Znamensky has a clinical interest in coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, peripheral arterial disease and advanced cardiovascular therapeutics. In addition to English, he is fluent in Russian, Hebrew and Spanish.
